*Descendants of David Nichols

Generation No. 1

      1.  David ?2 Nichols  (Mr.1)  He married Jaile "Sally" (Nichols).  She was born in Tennessee, and died Aft. 1870 in Franklin County, Arkansas.

Notes for Jaile "Sally" (Nichols):

Jaile Nichols age was listed at 70 in the 1870 Census in Franklin County, Arkansas, page 12 visit # 96/106 and she was living with the family of Uriah Nichols, she is probably the mother of the children listed in this family group, however, we are not sure of this.  But in order for me to get most of the information on the Nichols that I have in my files so that others will have access to the information, I've listed most of  the Nichols men born around the same time under this family. DO NOT take it for granted that the children listed under this family all belong to Jaile "Sally".  However, the rest of the information is accurate as far as I am able to tell.   If anyone has any information on this group of Nichols, please email me: cholt@cuzncarri.com

In the 1860 Census in Franklin County, Sally has listed her age as 64 which would have her born in the year 1796, but in the 1870 she says she is 70 which would have her born in the year 1800...so I am confused.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
